The Rossendale 60’s Festival is acknowedged by all who have been as one of the premier annual events in the Northwest. It is now in it’s third year and as you will see from the posts from last year, it covers much of what people associate with the 60’s era including ‘Scootfest’ a scooter rally, classic cars, live music at a number of venues, fashion, food, hippie markets and for the first time this year we have the ‘Rally in the Valley’, a VW campervan gathering in Rawtenstall. The Festival will be taking place on 11th, 12th and 13th September 2015, and is a Rossendale Valley wide Festival, includes events in Rawtenstall, Bacup, Haslingden and Whitworth. The Festival’s main aim is to attract and expose visitors to the beauty, heritage and culture of Rossendale. What better way than to create a Festival with a theme that young and old can relate to.
